Major or Minor in Theatre Art

The theatre art major or minor is your ticket to the world of the dramatic arts, with a balanced mix of study and practice to help you hone your craft. Whether you specialize in performance or design, you'll learn both in class and on the stage.

Minor in Musical Theatre Performance

New in Fall 2025, the musical theatre performance minor combines theatre, music, and dance. With acting, voice, and dance courses, this program is ideal for students preparing for careers as performers or theatre art educators.

A major and minor in Concordia's theatre art department provides students with a broad-based theatre education. This sets a foundation from which they can specialize in performance, design, or history and literature. Throughout the academic year, Concordia Theatre presents a variety of classic and contemporary productions. Many students combine a theatre art major or minor with art, business, communication studies, music, or other programs.
